About

I chose a career in psychology because I believe every individual deserves to feel seen, understood, and valued for who they are. Throughout my work as a clinical psychologist, I have developed a deep appreciation for the unique strengths, perspectives, and abilities that each person brings to the world. I believe psychological assessment should be more than identifying a diagnosis; it should be an opportunity for self discovery, understanding, and empowerment.

‍

I strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves. My goal is to provide diagnostic clarity and meaningful insight that helps individuals understand themselves, appreciate their unique strengths, and move forward with greater confidence and self-awareness.

Education & Licensure
PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of the Cumberlands, Williamsburg, Ky; Bachelors in Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University, Richmond, Ky.
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I chose this path because I believe there is something incredibly meaningful about helping people better understand themselves. For many adults, an autism diagnosis can provide clarity to experiences they've spent years trying to make sense of. I find it deeply rewarding to be part of that process of self-discovery and affirmation.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My passion lies in recognizing the unique strengths, perspectives, and abilities of each individual rather than focusing soley on their challenges. I believe everyone deserves to feel understood and valued for who they are, and I approach each evaluation with compassion, curiosity, and respect for the individuality of each person I work with.
