About

Hello and welcome! I’m a licensed psychologist based in Nebraska, and I’m glad you’re considering taking this step toward learning more about yourself. One of the things I value most about being a psychologist is the opportunity to truly get to know people and understand the experiences that have shaped who they are. I approach evaluations with warmth, curiosity, and an open mind, recognizing that every person is uniquely made and has their own story, strengths, challenges, and way of experiencing the world. My goal is for you to feel comfortable being yourself and, most importantly, to feel genuinely heard and understood throughout the evaluation process.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I’m drawn to working with autistic and neurodivergent adults because I enjoy understanding the many different ways people think, communicate, connect with others, and experience the world. I’m especially interested in hearing the stories of adults who may have spent years feeling different, misunderstood, or wondering why certain aspects of life seem to work differently for them. I value the opportunity to listen to those experiences with curiosity rather than assumptions and to help people find greater clarity and understanding about themselves. Whether or not an evaluation ultimately results in an autism diagnosis, I hope the process itself provides meaningful insight and helps each person feel that their experiences have been taken seriously.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I approach each evaluation from the perspective that there is much more to a person than a diagnosis. I want to understand not only what may be difficult for you, but also your strengths, interests, relationships, accomplishments, and the qualities that make you uniquely you. I strive to create a relaxed, respectful, and affirming environment where you don’t feel that there is a “right” way to answer questions or present yourself.

I also recognize that your time is valuable. My goal is to make the evaluation process as efficient and straightforward as possible without compromising the integrity or comprehensiveness of the assessment. I take the responsibility of diagnosis seriously and aim to provide a thoughtful evaluation that leaves you with greater clarity, useful information, and a better understanding of yourself.
