About

Hello and Welcome! Thank you for choosing to be here. My name is Erica Ploski and I currently live and am licensed in Pennsylvania. I am always thankful when a client allows me the opportunity to connect with them and accompany them on a journey towards setting goals and healing. I strive to create a safe space for clients in which they can freely express themselves, learn about what makes them tick, discover their strangths and apititudes and find direction and meaning. Each person brings a unique story to the sessions. I want to know who you are and celebrate you.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My desire to work with autistic and neurodivergent adults comes first from a personal place. I have two young adult children in college that are neurodivergent with autism and ADHD. My former husband was autistic. I have been a voracious reader of the research, always wanting to learn more, understand more and deliver more. As a parent I recognized that many children growing up are labeled in their special ed programs and this can affect your developing identity and how you feel about yourself. Some people are not recognized at all until they are out of school and feel a certain way about their experiences. What ever your experience was, I want to provide affirming care and help you carve out a path for the rest of your life.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

Each person is created as unique and that is the beautiful thing about our work together. I see meeting each client as like finding a jewel to admire. I provide a strengths based and affirming approach in which you can start to feel insighful, empowered, positive and understood. Let's face it, our strengths carry us through the tough times. They can also be our resources when we are setting goals and working towards achieving them. So, let's work on discovering your natural strengths and abilities and build on them through authentic communication and care.
