About
Hello and welcome. I’m a licensed clinical social worker with many years of experience supporting adolescents and adults through counseling, education, and consultation. I am licensed in Massachusetts and provide therapy through telehealth.
My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when people feel understood and respected for who they are, rather than pressured to fit a particular mold. I especially enjoy helping clients better understand themselves, recognize their strengths and needs, and develop strategies that fit the way they experience and navigate the world.
My interest in working with autistic and neurodivergent clients grew naturally from many years of helping people better understand themselves, manage stress, and navigate challenges. I’m drawn to a neurodiversity-affirming approach because it begins with understanding and respecting each person’s individual way of thinking, experiencing, and interacting with the world.
I especially value helping clients identify what works for them—rather than focusing on what they “should” be doing differently. Therapy can provide a place to better understand your own patterns, recognize both strengths and challenges, and develop practical strategies for navigating relationships, emotions, stress, and everyday life.
I approach therapy with the belief that each person brings with them their own strengths, abilities, interests, and ways of understanding the world. Rather than beginning with what needs to be “fixed,” I work with clients to better understand what is working for them, what is getting in the way, and what they would like to be different.
My role is to listen carefully, validate each person’s thoughts and experience, and then work collaboratively to identify goals and strategies that fit the individual. Challenges are important to address, but they do not define the person. I want therapy to be a place where clients can better understand and accept themselves while building on their strengths and developing practical ways to create meaningful change in their lives.
