About
Hi, I'm Emily, I am licensed in Texas, Utah and Washington State. I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, anger management, PTSD, and alcohol or substance use. Many of the people I work with are looking not just for relief, but for a deeper understanding of themselves and why they feel the way they do, and how to create lasting change. Whether you’re facing daily stressors, working through past experiences, or trying to regain a sense of control, therapy can be a space to slow down, process, and begin moving forward. My goal is for you to leave sessions with clarity, stronger tools, and a sense that change is not only possible, but already beginning.
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in real-life application. Together, we focus on building practical coping skills and helping you feel more steady, confident, and in control of your life
I enjoy working with autistic adults because I value neurodiversity and believe everyone deserves to feel understood, respected, and supported. I appreciate the unique strengths, perspectives, and resilience that each person brings, and I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. My goal is to support clients as they navigate challenges, build on their strengths, and develop skills that can make everyday life and relationships feel more manageable. Most importantly, I want clients to feel heard, supported, and confident in creating a life that feels meaningful to them.
I approach my work with warmth and compassion, using an affirming and strengths-based approach that allows each individual to feel genuinely seen, valued, and empowered. I believe everyone has unique strengths and inner resilience that can be cultivated to navigate challenges and work toward meaningful goals. I make space to listen attentively, honor each person’s experiences, and acknowledge their feelings, fostering a safe and supportive environment where they feel comfortable expressing their authentic selves.
