Intro

Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Tennessee. My background in working with children and adolescents as well as clients with a history of childhood trauma has prepared me for doing autism assessments with Prosper Health, as so much of my work and training directly relates to the experiences of many Prosper Health clients.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

As someone who has faced my own fair share of judgement and closed doors, I'm well aware of how the world can be dismissive of the neurodivergent community. As such, I fiercely believe in advocating for others and instilling hope. This belief has driven my passion for autism assessment with those who have been misunderstood and invalidated far too many times.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I have always had an appreciation for the different, the unrecognized, and the unusual. Acceptance and understanding of what makes us unique as individuals is often a pre-requisite to healing, love, and greatness. I thoroughly enjoy learning about others and the different aspects of what makes them who they are. Perhaps it is accepting our differences that stands between us and our most fulfilling experiences.
