About
Hi, I’m Elizabeth Richburg, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Pennsylvania. I’m passionate about creating a therapy space where people feel comfortable being fully themselves without fear of judgment or pressure to fit a certain mold. My background includes working in community mental health, telehealth, and private practice settings, where I’ve supported individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, relationship stress, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm.
I’m especially passionate about working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals because I recognize how exhausting it can feel to move through a world where you are often misunderstood or expected to adapt in ways that do not come naturally. Many clients I work with have spent years masking, feeling overlooked, or questioning themselves because their experiences were not fully understood by others. I believe therapy should be a place where clients feel accepted as they are while also gaining tools, insight, and support that genuinely fit their needs and goals.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-focused. Rather than viewing clients through the lens of what is “wrong,” I focus on helping individuals recognize what is already working within them — their resilience, insight, creativity, self-awareness, and capacity for growth. I strive to help clients better understand themselves, communicate their needs more confidently, manage stress in ways that feel sustainable, and build a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling to them. Above all, I want clients to feel supported, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic proces
