About

Hello and welcome, I’m glad you’re here. I’m Dr. Elizabeth Kidd, a licensed clinical psychologist based in Las Vegas and serving clients in Nevada and Virginia. I’m passionate about helping people better understand themselves and feel seen in a way that honors their experiences and strengths. Many adults come to this process after years of adapting, masking, or feeling different without having the language to explain why. I offer a supportive, validating space where you can explore those feelings, gain clarity, and make sense of your story without judgment. My approach is collaborative and thoughtful. We move through this process together, at your pace, with curiosity and respect. Whether you’re seeking deeper self-understanding or guidance for next steps, I’m here to help you feel understood and empowered.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I chose to work with neurodivergent adults because I believe everyone deserves the chance to understand themselves, feel seen, and have their experiences taken seriously. Many people come to this process after years of adapting, masking, or feeling different without clear language for why. It is meaningful to me to offer a space where those experiences are honored and explored with care.I am inspired by the insight, creativity, and resilience within the neurodivergent community. My goal is to approach this work with curiosity, respect, and collaboration, and to help you build clarity, confidence, and a sense of self that feels authentic and empowering.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

In my work with neurodivergent adults, I focus on understanding who you are, not what you need to “fix.” I believe you already have strengths, insight, and resilience that deserve to be noticed and supported. My role is to help you recognize those qualities, build confidence in them, and use them to create a life that feels aligned with who you are.I approach this process with curiosity, respect, and a commitment to honoring your lived experience. Instead of centering what’s difficult, we explore what works for you, what energizes you, and how your perspective can be a source of strength. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood and empowered to move forward with clarity and self-trust.
