About

Hello, I’m Elizabeth Green, a licensed psychologist in California specializing in psychological and neuropsychological assessment. I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, including university counseling centers, hospitals, and community mental health clinics.I’m especially passionate about working with neurodivergent adults, particularly those who may have gone years feeling overlooked, misunderstood, or unsure why certain things have felt harder than they “should.” A thoughtful, affirming evaluation can be incredibly validating and clarifying. I approach assessments collaboratively and with warmth. I want the process to feel respectful, supportive, and genuinely helpful, not intimidating. Most of all, I hope clients walk away with greater self-understanding and practical insight they can apply to their lives.

Education & Licensure

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

Through both my clinical work and personal relationships, I became increasingly aware of how many adults were overlooked, misdiagnosed, or left to navigate life without answers. That gap deeply motivates me. I want to be part of providing evaluations that are not just diagnostic, but validating and affirming. My goal is to help clients understand their experiences through a more accurate and compassionate lens, so they can move forward with greater self-acceptance and build social, personal, and professional lives that feel authentic and fulfilling.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I help clients see the full picture of how their mind works, not just the challenges, but the insight, creativity, persistence, and unique perspectives they bring as well. I’m intentional about framing neurodivergent traits as differences rather than deficits. My work is collaborative and tailored to each person’s goals, with practical recommendations that support self-advocacy, autonomy, and a life that feels sustainable and authentic.
