About
Hello and welcome! I’m Eliot, a licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience across community mental health, hospital, and academic medical settings. My clinical work has included psychological assessment and treatment for individuals with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns. I approach each assessment with warmth, curiosity, and respect for the individual’s unique experiences. My goal is to create a comfortable and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the evaluation process.
I believe autism assessment can provide meaningful clarity about how a person experiences and interacts with the world. For many people, understanding whether autism is part of their experience can help make sense of long-standing patterns in communication, relationships, sensory experiences, emotional regulation, and daily functioning. I value a neurodiversity-affirming perspective that recognizes both the challenges and strengths associated with different ways of thinking, communicating, and processing information. My goal is to provide an assessment experience that promotes greater self-understanding and offers useful information for future support, accommodations, and personal growth.
Throughout the assessment process, I prioritize clear communication, mindful listening, cultural sensitivity, and a nonjudgmental environment where clients can describe their experiences authentically. My aim is not simply to arrive at a diagnosis, but to provide a nuanced and useful understanding of each person’s strengths, challenges, and needs.
