About
Hello and welcome! My name is Elena Lange, and I am so glad that you are here. I am licensed as an LCSW in the state of NC. Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, past trauma, depression, or difficult life transitions begin to take control of your daily life. You may feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, disconnected from the person you want to be, or uncertain about how to move forward. You do not have to navigate these challenges alone. With more than 35 years of clinical experience, I specialize in helping adults heal from trauma, manage anxiety, and create meaningful, lasting change. I work with individuals who are struggling with PTSD, trauma-related issues, chronic stress, depression, addiction, relationship concerns, and major life transitions.
I work with individuals who are struggling with PTSD, trauma-related issues, chronic stress, depression, addiction, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I use CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), DBT (Dialectic Behavior Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. Therapy is not simply about talking through problems—it is about gaining insight, developing new tools, and creating real change in your daily life. I believe that every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and build a more fulfilling future.
I think that therapy and assistance with navigating life challenges should be available to everyone! I am very committed to helping you with whatever experience or current struggles you bring to therapy.
I find identifying your strengths and building on those are vital! I prioritize an affirming approach and want everyone to experience support and commitment to their care. I find it is important to provide you with a safe place to explore your individuality and enhance your strengths.
