About

Hello and welcome — I'm so glad you're here. My name is Elena Baikova, and I'm a licensed clinical psychologist based in California. What drives me, at the heart of everything I do, is helping people come home to themselves — to understand who they are, to feel seen and accepted, and to live with a sense of meaning, agency, and dignity. I believe that clarity about yourself can be genuinely liberating, and it's my honor to walk alongside you on that journey.

Education & Licensure
PsyD in Clinical Psychology from the Wright Institute; Bachelors in English from U.C. Berkeley
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I chose to work with autistic and neurodivergent people because I believe difference deserves to be understood, not fixed. I'm drawn to this work because of the profound opportunity it offers — to help you truly know yourself, name your strengths, and build a life that feels genuinely yours. I approach every assessment with honesty and transparency, because you deserve to understand every part of the process and what it means for you. I'm strengths-based and realistic — I believe both abilities and challenges are real, and that with the right strategies, accommodations, and support, they can all be navigated. My goal is always to empower you to advocate for your own needs, to feel respected in your uniqueness, and to walk away with clarity that opens doors rather than closes them.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I bring a thorough, thoughtful, and deeply curious approach to every assessment. I listen carefully, consider multiple perspectives, and hold space for the full complexity of who you are — without judgment. For me, an affirming session means going at your pace, in an environment that feels safe, warm, and genuinely welcoming. I celebrate difference and uniqueness and I approach every person with cultural humility and openness. I believe our  strengths exist not despite our neurodivergence — they are woven into it — and it is my privilege to help you see and build upon your abilities.
