About
Hi there! My name is Dianne Gaviria, and I am a licensed psychologist who works with adolescents and adults, based in South Florida. I earned my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and provide evidence-based, compassionate care to individuals across a wide range of experiences and needs. I have experience providing both therapeutic services and psychological assessments, and I work with individuals seeking greater self-understanding, clarity, and personal growth. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and client-centered, integrating evidence-based practices and psychoeducation to support insight, emotional well-being, and effective coping in daily life. I am committed to providing you affirming, respectful care that honors your unique experiences, strengths, and needs. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you will feel heard, validated, and empowered throughout the therapeutic and assessment process.
I center my work on helping clients recognize and build on the skills and strengths they already have. I focus on what is working well in their lives and use those successes as a foundation for growth, rather than approaching therapy or assessment from a deficit-based perspective. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, allowing clients to explore challenges safely while feeling validated and empowered. By emphasizing resilience, adaptability, and personal resources, I aim to support individuals in realizing their goals and navigating life in ways that feel authentic and meaningful.
I am drawn to working with autistic and neurodivergent adults because I have seen how important it is to provide care that truly meets someone where they are, rather than expecting them to fit a standard mold. I enjoy helping individuals explore their unique strengths, understand themselves more deeply, and develop strategies that make everyday life and relationships more manageable and fulfilling. Supporting neurodivergent clients allows me to combine my clinical training with creativity and flexibility, which I find both meaningful and energizing. My goal is to help you build confidence, practical skills, and self-understanding so you can navigate life in ways that feel authentic and empowering.
