Hello, I am honored to serve you. My name is Diane Bailey. I currently reside in Texas, where I am licensed as a psychologist. I am committed to helping others to reach their goals in life. As a clinical psychologist, my goals are to assist you with gaining insights into how to achieve your aspirations and develop the confidence, motivation , and determination to reach your current goals. Your journey is unique and I believe in providing interventions that are tailored to meet your individual needs.
My motivation for working with autistic/neurodivergent adults stems from my goals early in life to help others better the quality of their life experiences. In my work as a psychologist, over the past forty years, I have witnessed a significant increase in the diagnosis autism (autism spectrum disorder) as well as have observed more closely the neurodivergent characteristics of many individuals including my family members. Due to these experiences, I have lots of experiences working with individuals who are neurodivergent. My goals are to assist individuals who are neurodivergent to lead a life that is rewarding, stable, insightful and open to developing strong and close relationships with others.
My approach will be to focus on your strengths, to build self-esteem, self-value and empower each individual that I work with to embrace self-ideations that are driven by positive self thoughts. I am committed to supporting my clients through active listening and goal-setting to reach their aspirations and moreover, to feel positive about themselves.
