Hello and Welcome! My name is Dr. Meyers and I currently live in Missouri, and I am licensed in Missouri. I am passionate about supporting individuals uncover their strengths and help foster self-understanding. I have experience providing comprehensive psychological assessments, with an emphasis on autism across the lifespan. I’m passionate about helping individuals and families better understand themselves through comprehensive individualized assessment.I believe that every evaluation should be individualized, emphasize strengths, and provide information on next steps in the mental health journey.

Treatment Approach

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I started working with individuals on the spectrum in 2013 and was drawn to it by being able to personally relate. I have provided both therapy and assessment services across the lifespan. I am inspired by the strengths, perspectives, resilience of others, I constantly learn something new from others, and I strive to provide support that honors each person’s unique experiences.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I approach each evaluation in an individualized, emphatic, and supportive fashion. I understand that their is not one way to be neurodivergent and it exists across a broad spectrum. I strive to understand each individual as a whole, their current strengths, and what supports may be needed to help them lead the life that they want.
