About
Hello there and Welcome! My name is Della Nix. I’m currently living in Huntsville, AL and licensed. I am looking forward to working and assisting new individuals who are looking to grow and learn more about themselves. I believe each individual grow and learn at their own speed. My job as a therapist, is to help assist those who are ready to meet new parts of themselves with empathy, understanding, and with an open mind.
My passion for working with autistic adults stems from the lack of services and societal opportunities that are limited in each city and state. I want to learn and grow more as a clinician to succeed in expanding opportunities for those individuals not restrict them due to a diagnoses. I believe working together with this population will not only, enlighten myself as a professional but allow me to reach other spaces or rural areas who lack understanding, suffer from stereotypes, or lack understanding behind those that live with autism. I want to help and guide each individual who may be confuse or frustrated with internal struggles to allow society and the world to gain amazing individuals.
My approach focuses on flexible and emotional focus due to each individuals being unique in their own creation. I like to challenged individuals when needed while giving them a space to reflect and grow govern by their own design.
