About

Hello, I'm Danielle Osborne, a licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist based in WI. I believe that a strong, positive rapport between therapist and client is the cornerstone of effective therapy. My approach is person-centered, focusing on recognizing and building upon your strengths in a supportive and empathetic environment. I strive to create a safe space where you can openly discuss your stressors and work towards meaningful progress. When we work together, you can expect a strength based and growth-oriented process. Together, we will explore your strengths and set achievable goals that align with your personal values and aspirations. My aim is to support you in learning and growing, helping you navigate life's challenges and resilience and confidence.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My motivation for being a therapist for autistic and neurodivergent clients comes from a appreciation for the unique strengths, positive qualities and ways of experiencing the world that each individual brings. I am passionate about creating a empathetic and supportive environment where clients can feel understood, safe and valued for who they are. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, develop skills for navigating challenges, and build greater confidence and independence while honoring their individual needs and goals.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I bring an affirming, strength based approach to my work by creating a relaxed, compassionate and supportive environment where clients can be safe, feel heard, understood and respected. When working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma and life challenges I focus on identifying their existing strengths, resilience, and coping abilities while helping them develop real life coping skills to manage difficult emotions. I prioritize meeting clients where they are, validate their experiences, and work collaboratively with them to build confidence, increase self-awareness, and make progress towards their goals.
