About

Hi! My name is Daniel Gross, but please call me Dan! I began my journey in psychology while an undergraduate student nearly 30 years ago and never looked back - I love what I do, the most of which being a tiny part of my patients' recovery and well-being. I'm grateful to the trust every patient gives, do my very best to meet each patients' needs, and always bring the compassion and care I would want for myself and my love ones.

Education & Licensure

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

Early in my career I provided home-based ABA therapy for children with autism, and I developed a strong appreciation for their unique way of seeing the world, while also gaining an appreciation for their parents and caregivers. I found tremendous reward in helping those children recognize and appreciate their strengths, while also helping their families navigate some of the challenges that come from caring for those who may not easily fit into societal expected roles.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

Life is filled with challenges and stressors, and it is often too easy for us to let the feelings that come with those difficulties occupy space in our mind and guide our path. It gives me such joy to help my patients recognize their strengths, and to also help communicate the way they see the world to the people around them. Providing opportunity for others to flourish is the most rewarding part of my job and I'm incredibly grateful to be allowed to do it.
