About
Hello! My name is Crystal Harris. I currently live in Northern California after living in Colorado most of my adult life. I am licensed in both California and Colorado. I have always done some sort of social work since the start of my career. I have worked with many non-profits, including developmental disabilities, multicultural education, community organizing, and community health and Hospice care. In all settings, I have valued the opportunity to work with individuals directly and learn about who they are.
I chose to specialize in working with autistic and neurodivergent adults because I believe everyone deserves a space where their way of experiencing the world is heard, understood and respected. My focus is creating an affirming, supportive environment where clients can explore their identity, process challenges, and build tools for thriving. My interest grew from many years working neurodivergent adults across many settings, including health care, community organizing and providing direct therapy. These experiences deepened my commitment to providing therapy that is neurodiversity-affirming, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s needs.
In my work, I integrate evidence-based therapies with flexibility, knowing there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to mental health. I aim to provide validation, encouragement, and practical tools while also making space for creativity, self-expression, and self-advocacy. By focusing on strengths and values, therapy becomes less about masking or conforming to rigid expectations and more about living fully and confidently.
