About

Hello, my name is Crystal Cramer, and welcome to therapy.

‍

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Missouri, and I am honored to have the opportunity to walk alongside you on your journey.

‍

I encourage you to think of this space as your space—a place where you can openly share the things in life that may be weighing you down, holding you back, or keeping you from moving forward in the way you feel you should. This is a safe space to explore, process, heal, and grow.

‍

There is no judgment here. You do not have to have everything figured out, and you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I am here to help you along the journey, offering support, guidance, and a space where you can be honest about what you are experiencing.

‍

I am not here to make decisions for you. Instead, I am here to walk beside you as you discover your own answers, make choices that feel right for you, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your life.

‍

I am here to watch you bloom into the person you want to become. I am here to help you identify and begin letting go of the weights that have been holding you in place for far too long.

‍

Therapy is a journey, and I look forward to sharing the moments of reflection, growth, breakthroughs, challenges, and victories with you.

‍

Welcome. Your journey starts here, and you do not have to walk it alone.

Education & Licensure
I have a Master's degree from webster university in family marriage counseling. Masters degree from Capella in Human services. Masters degree in criminal justice management from Colorado technology.
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My desire to work with individuals who are neurodivergent comes from two very meaningful places—one deeply personal and the other rooted in my passion for advocacy and support.

‍

First, I am the proud mother of an autistic daughter. Being her mom has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I have loved watching her grow, learn, and experience the world in her own unique way. She has taught me to see life through a different lens—one that has brought me greater understanding, patience, appreciation, and love. She has shown me that there is beauty in experiencing the world differently, and I am grateful for everything she has taught me.

‍

Second, my experience as a mother has given me a firsthand perspective on the challenges that many neurodivergent individuals and their families face, particularly when it comes to accessing appropriate support and care early in life. I have seen how important early understanding, acceptance, resources, and therapeutic support can be for both individuals and their families.

‍

I want to be part of creating a space where neurodivergent individuals feel understood, respected, supported, and accepted for who they are. Whether that means providing therapy to an individual, supporting parents and caregivers, or working with families as they navigate their journey, I want to contribute in whatever way I can.

‍

If I can make even a small difference by helping an individual or family feel less alone, more understood, and better equipped to navigate their journey, then I know I am doing my part.

‍

My hope is to not only provide therapy, but to offer understanding, compassion, advocacy, and a safe space where neurodivergent individuals and their families can feel seen and valued

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I believe every therapy session should be individualized to the person sitting in front of me. No two people are the same, and I believe your therapy should reflect your unique experiences, needs, goals, and strengths. A person-centered approach is very important to me because I want you to feel heard, respected, understood, and actively involved in your own therapeutic journey.

‍

I enjoy incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy into my work, while tailoring these approaches to meet each individual's needs. My goal is not to simply provide you with strategies, but to work collaboratively with you to discover the tools and coping strategies that genuinely work for you.

‍

Throughout our time together, I hope we can create a space where you feel comfortable exploring challenges, recognizing your strengths, developing new skills, and working toward meaningful change. My goal is to walk alongside you as you discover what works best for you and help you feel more confident in navigating life beyond the therapy room.
