About
Hello! Welcome to my page. My name is Connolly D’Souza and I am a Florida and Texas Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Florida Certified Trauma and Addiction Professional. I am here to provide empathy, understanding, and tools that you can use to work through life’s difficulties.I have found that growth and healing occur when you feel safe, heard, and truly understood. I strive to provide a warm, collaborative, and person-centered therapeutic relationship. This means that we will work together in a way that respects and validates your individual experiences, strengths, and needs. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, stress, life transitions, or anything else – I will provide a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment where you can be yourself.I have worked with people from all walks of life in both mental health and substance use treatment settings. I know how hard it can be to seek help. Please know that you don’t have to struggle alone. I am here to help you find the strength, insight, and tools you need to heal, find balance, and move toward living your best life.I would be privileged to walk with you on your healing journey.
I enjoy working with autistic and neurodivergent clients because I believe everyone deserves to feel accepted, understood, and valued for who they are. I truly appreciate the unique strengths, creativity, and perspectives that neurodivergent individuals bring to the world, and I want you to feel safe being yourself without judgment.Through my experience in mental health, trauma, and addiction treatment, I have seen how many neurodivergent individuals often feel misunderstood or pressured to change to fit others’ expectations. My goal is to provide a supportive, personalized, and trauma-informed space where your strengths and goals are just as important as the challenges you may be facing. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and compassionate. Whether you want to better understand yourself, improve relationships, manage stress, or build practical life skills, I am here to support you every step of the way. My hope is that you feel heard, supported, and empowered to thrive.
In therapy, I take an affirming, strengths-based approach by centering you, your strengths, resilience, and possibilities, instead of focusing solely on the problems or difficulties you are working through. My goal is to provide you with a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and accepted as you are.My therapeutic approach is empathetic, collaborative, and trauma-informed. We will work together to identify your strengths, learn helpful coping skills, and create goals that will assist you in feeling more confident, grounded, and empowered throughout your everyday life.
