About
Hello and WELCOME! I’m Cindy Dike (she/her), a licensed psychologist in Texas with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. I’m passionate about supporting individuals during pivotal moments of growth, particularly when making sense of new insights gained through assessment and therapy. I believe clarity can be transformative, and I approach my work with curiosity, collaboration, and deep respect for your lived experience. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to listen carefully, ask meaningful questions, and help translate complex information into understanding that feels empowering and practical. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and taken seriously, especially if you’ve felt overlooked or misunderstood in the past. It’s an honor to walk alongside you as you gain insight, confidence, and direction for what comes next. I’m so glad you’re here.
What drew me to specialize in working with autistic and neurodivergent clients was witnessing how transformative accurate, affirming assessment can be. I’ve seen how clarity can shift someone’s narrative from “What’s wrong with me?” to “This is how my brain works.” That shift is powerful. It creates space for self-acceptance, self-advocacy, and more aligned support.
As a solution-focused psychologist, I approach every individual with the belief that they already carry strengths, insight, and resilience, even if those qualities feel hard to access in the moment. I focus on understanding what is already working, what matters most to you, and what meaningful progress would look like in your daily life. Together, we identify realistic, manageable steps forward rather than overwhelming changes. My goal is always leave individuals with more than information. I want them to leave with a deeper sense of self-understanding, confidence, and practical tools that align with who they are.
