About

Hi, and welcome! I’m Dr. Christina Tsoi, a licensed psychologist authorized to offer telepsychology in participating states through PSYPACT. I provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for adults who want to better understand how they think, learn, and experience the world. You might be exploring questions that have been on your mind for years, or noticing familiar patterns as the demands of work, school, or relationships change. I bring a warm, collaborative approach to assessment. We’ll start with what you hope to understand, then talk through the findings in plain language and identify next steps that fit your life.

Education & Licensure
PhD in Counseling Psychology from Brigham Young University MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from the London School of Economics and Political Science BS in Behavioral Science/Psychology from Utah Valley University
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I’ve always been curious about the different ways people think, communicate, and experience the world. What draws me to working with autistic/neurodivergent adults is hearing how they’ve made sense of those differences over time. Sometimes an experience that seems small from the outside, like getting through a busy workday, takes a great deal of preparation and energy. I find it meaningful to help people put those experiences into context. An evaluation can give you language for patterns you’ve noticed for years and help you understand what kinds of support would make a difference now.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I’m interested in what you enjoy, when you feel most like yourself, and what you’ve already learned about what works for you. Those details help me understand your strengths alongside the challenges that brought you in. Having lived and worked across cultures, I’m mindful of how expectations about communication and behavior can vary across families, communities, and workplaces. When we discuss the assessment findings, I’ll make space for your perspective and work with you to identify supports that build on your strengths and fit how you think, learn, and connect with others.
