About
Hello, and welcome! My name is Dr. Christina Denninghoff, and I am a psychologist based in Georgia who is licensed in both Georgia and Ohio. I am passionate about diagnostic assessment and have spent my career thus far receiving training in a number of different settings (ranging from primary care to private practice) and with a variety of populations (ranging from children to older adults). I find great joy and purpose in walking alongside individuals as we work together to figure out what pieces fit diagnostically for you so that we can come up with a cohesive plan and way to continue supporting your journey.
Over the years, I have worked with a number of different patient populations with a variety of presenting concerns. In some settings where autism evaluation was not commonplace, I experienced adults acknowledging that this was a question that if provided an answer would help them have a better understanding of themselves and their life experiences. Now, being in a place where I can provide that evaluation taking into account the individual's particular identity variables, I hope to be able to work with you to obtain a deeper understanding of yourself and ways that we can continue to build on your strengths and skills that you bring to the table.
I take a strengths-based approach when presenting feedback and information to those I work with, acknowledging that those strengths help us better understand them as a whole in combination with those areas that may need more support. I am committed to helping you understand the results of testing thoroughly and how that information can be used to continue to advocate for ways to help you feel supported and able to achieve to your fullest potential.
