About

Hello, my name is Christi Passalacqua. I currently live in Indiana. I am a fully licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I currently carry licensure in the states of Indiana and Nevada. I am passionate about working with individuals and providing them with a supportive environment that allows them to express themselves in a safe environment free from judgement. My goal is to work with you and assist you in developing healthy coping skills that will allow you to build resilience in times of challenge and increase your confidence in your abilities to be successful throughout your journey in life. I am looking forward to meeting with you and providing you with the care and support you need.

Education & Licensure
I attended College of Southern Nevada where I graduated with an Associates of Science in 2009. I received a Bachelors in Psychology from Nevada State College in 2012. I received a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Phoenix in 2016. I am currently preparing to go back to school to obtain a second Masters degree in ABA with an Emphasis in Autism.
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I am passionate about helping individuals work through increased challenges and provide services for individuals who have received an autism/neurodivergent diagnosis. I have witnessed challenges individuals have faced when trying to obtain services and I have a desire to be a part of the bridge to the gap in services available to this community. The greatest reward I have as a therapist is watching my clients grow and make change in their lives through dedication and consistency with the therapeutic process.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I want to ensure that all of my clients feel safe and empowered in and outside of sessions. I believe that each person has the ability to work through situations by effectively utilizing their current strengths and building on those strengths by learning new coping skills throughout the therapeutic process that will assist them in reaching their goals. I listen to my clients and work to increase my understanding of their needs.
