About
Hello! My name is Chris King. I live in San Jose and am licensed in California. What drives me as a provider is helping people better understand themselves in a space that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental. My goal is to work collaboratively with you as we explore your experiences, identify patterns, and build tools that support meaningful change. Every person’s story is unique, and I am committed to meeting you where you are while helping you move toward a life that feels more grounded, connected, and aligned with who you are.
My motivation for working with autistic and neurodivergent adults comes from a genuine respect for the different ways people experience and move through the world. I believe every person deserves support that honors who they are, rather than trying to force them to fit into a mold. I am inspired by the strengths, resilience, and unique perspectives of the neurodivergent community. My goal is to create a supportive space where we can better understand your experiences, build on your strengths, navigate challenges, and work toward a life that feels more authentic, manageable, and meaningful to you.
I prioritize an affirming and strengths-based approach so each client feels understood, respected, and valued. I believe every person has unique strengths, perspectives, and abilities that can support growth and help them navigate challenges in a way that feels authentic to them. I work to create a safe, collaborative space where clients can express themselves openly, feel validated in their experiences, and build on what is already within them.
