About

I am Chelsey J. Vest LICSW and PhD in human sexuality and have been practicing as a licensed clinical social worker since 2017. I am dedicated to working with adult clients to promote personal, mental, professional, and overall wellness. The diverse populations with which I have worked have given me experience with a variety of different challenges: depression and anxiety, LGBTQ+ identities, sexuality concerns, mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, and many others.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

You’ve made it this far and I am here to offer support! Reaching out can be a difficult and intimidating step. In my experience, finding a therapist that is the right fit is key to success in therapy. My style is relaxed and I aim to be relatable. Therapists are people, too!

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I use an eclectic approach in my therapeutic practice which often includes solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral theory. I work with teens, young adults, adults and couples. The target is always to work together to find methods and approaches that work best for them, align with their experiences, and steer them toward their therapeutic goals.
