About
Hello! My name is Chelsee Osback and I’m a licensed psychologist in California with a doctorate in clinical psychology. My pronouns are she/her. I have a background in teaching clinical psychology at the university level, and I have several years of experience working with adult neurodivergent clients with histories of trauma in individual therapy. I aim to provide compassionate, individualized support throughout the assessment process. I am looking forward to collaborating with you!
Providing therapy services to neurodivergent clients highlighted how often they felt they have been dismissed, overlooked, or failed to receive comprehensive services and support when receiving diagnostic assessments. I am motivated to provide a space where you can feel heard, seen, and affirmed in your experience. The assessment process can be vulnerable and overwhelming, and I want to ensure that a positive and collaborative experience is available where your individual needs and differences are taken into consideration.
My approach is focused on awareness, choice, and individual expression. Your experiences and perspectives should always be considered in the diagnostic process so strengths and areas for growth will be considered within your unique context. I am interested in learning about what’s important to you and providing support throughout the assessment process to ensure you feel heard, seen, respected and affirmed. I believe that assessment should be accessible and will do my best to create a process that is straightforward, organized, and meets your needs.
