Hello there, my name is Charles LaPrade. I am a licensed psychologist in the Sunshine State known as Florida. Being a part of a team that provides beyond average care and support to the most vulnerable individuals motivates my practice as a psychologist. I have more than 15 years in the mental health field as a counselor and psychologist combined.

Treatment Approach

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

The opportunity to assist those with autism and members of the neurodivergent community is a grand privilege. Me putting my skills and education to improving the quality of life for this population is one of the reasons I became a psychologist.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My initial focus is on building rapport with all my clients. I believe the connection between clinician and client is first most important when evaluating and assessing. I am excited to earn my clients trust and provide support as much as I can.
