About
Hello! I'm glad you are here. I have been practicing trauma-oriented psychotherapy for over a decade and am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania I work with adults and couples, young adults, and adolescents. I prioritize transparency, authenticity and a down to earth connection in the working therapeutic relationship in order to help you feel comfortable to be your full self while you pursue your emotional health and wellness goals.
I feel my work as a therapist is social justice in action as it exemplifies my respect for a diverse and cohesive community of humans. This is intentionally put forward when I meet new clients interested in working with me while I stay focused on remaining culturally sensitive and inclusive and highlighting your unique strengths to form coping skills and therapeutic tools tailored to your needs. Honoring neurodivergence within the mosaic of human strengths and experiences is an important facet to my role in supporting you while you work towards your goals.
I utilize an attachment-informed and strength-based lens, meaning I work with you to highlight your unique abilities and talents as well as introducing and helping you practice new skills to rework difficulties from your past that may be unresolved to better create contentment in your life. My professional goal is to continuously create with you an inclusive, trustful and collaborative working relationship in all aspects of your therapy journey.
