About
Hello and welcome! I'm Celene Fyffe, Ph.D., and I'm so glad you're here. I am a licensed clinical neuropsychologist based in Central Florida, licensed in Florida and Alabama, with over 25 years of experience helping adults make sense of how their minds work. My practice centers on comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, with a special focus on autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and related neurodevelopmental conditions in adults. I am committed to creating a warm, unhurried space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and understood — because you deserve answers, not more confusion.I spent many years as a neuropsychologist in the United States Air Force, providing care to service members and their families in some of the most demanding environments imaginable — including active combat zones overseas. That experience taught me to be precise, compassionate, and steady under pressure. It also gave me a deep respect for resilience. Whatever brought you to seek an evaluation, I will bring that same commitment to understanding your story and helping you move forward with clarity.
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults? So many adults come to me having spent years — sometimes decades — feeling like something was just a little "off," without ever having a name for it. They've been told they're too sensitive, too intense, or simply "quirky." They've developed incredible strategies to cope and adapt, often at great personal cost. I wanted to be part of changing that experience. A thoughtful, thorough evaluation can be genuinely life-changing — not because a diagnosis defines you, but because understanding yourself more fully gives you permission to stop masking, start advocating, and build a life that actually fits who you are. I hope to provide the kind of affirming experience I wished for my own neurodivergent child when they sought answers.
How do you approach evaluations in a way that feels safe and affirming?I believe the evaluation process should feel like a collaboration, not an interrogation. From our very first conversation, my goal is to understand you — your history, your strengths, your questions, and your concerns — not just to administer tests and produce a report. I take a neurodiversity-affirming approach, which means I am not looking for what is "wrong" with you. I am looking for the full picture: the challenges and the remarkable capabilities that often come alongside them. My reports are written to be clear, honest, and genuinely useful — something you can hand to a doctor, an employer, or a therapist and say, this is me.
