Intro
Hi and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Cassie Sanders and I’m a clinical licensed social worker based out of Michigan. I am passionate about helping others create pathways and skills to help their life journey in ways that are person-centered and effective for long-term success. As a clinician, I take my role very seriously to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel seen, heard and validated. My goal is to work alongside you to help you navigate challenges, uncover your many strengths and explore ways to get through some of life’s most difficult and challenging moments. I will work with you to ensure you feel supported, heard and most importantly, see you as the incredible human that you are. Thank you for being courageous in your mental health journey - I’m looking forward to working on your goals, together.
My motivation for working with a population of humans with autism and/or neurodiversity stems from a deep rooted passion for supporting individuals who often express difficulties with finding safe spaces to feel seen, heard and validated. I am motivated and determined to create a safe space where all types of strengths, resilience and perspectives from the autistic community are celebrated, expounded upon and supported. My goal is to help clients build lifelong skills to help enhance their daily life, relationships and sense of self. Together, we can map out and help create a life where you feel seen, heard and validated.
I prioritize an affirming and strengths-based approach to ensure every human feels seen, heard and empowered. I believe each client has unique strengths, insights and abilities that can be harnessed to navigate challenges and achieve the goals they’re aiming to achieve. Building rapport and actively listening is critical to create a safe space where clients can feel seen, heard and validated. Ensuring clients can show up authentically and express themselves in a way that feels safe and important is paramount to person-centered therapeutic practices.
