About
Hi! I’m Cass Sieg, a licensed clinical psychologist with over ten years of experience, primarily specializing in trauma work. I believe deeply in human resilience, yet we all face moments of feeling lost, overwhelmed, isolated, or paralyzed by shame. I’m passionate about meeting you where you are and collaborating to find a way forward.Assessments can be an essential tool in clarifying your experience. My goal is to ensure you feel validated, regardless of the outcome, and fully supported throughout your journey.
I've spent many years working with people struggling with chronic mental health challenges. Early in my career I realized there were cases where a diagnosis of depression, anxiety, or posttraumatic stress only captured part of a client’s struggle. There was an invisible struggle present: undiagnosed neurodiversity. Most therapeutic methods were not developed with neurodivergent clients in mind. While therapies can be thoughtfully adapted, you need an accurate diagnosis to guide those adaptations. Seeing those gaps in traditional therapy has made me passionate about helping people with autism receive an accurate assessment so they can connect with the support that serves them best.
I believe you are the expert on your own life. My goal is to help you examine your experiences by asking new questions, listening respectfully, exploring patterns, and providing professional insight.I also believe affirming work requires recognizing when things are hard. Resilience and personal strengths do not eliminate pain or challenges. It is essential that you feel safe sharing your struggles during the assessment. Finally, I believe it is important to tailor the assessment process to your unique identity, including gender, culture, sexuality, and religion. Symptoms present differently based on lived context. Adapting care to your background is a core commitment of my practice.
