About
Hello! I am Cassandra and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and an art therapist practicing in Connecticut. I have been providing therapy and helping people to feel better for about 20 years now. I have worked with clients seeking help for a variety of issues including stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, goal setting, self-esteem, substance abuse, relationships, communication, internal conflict, and work. I am a compassionate, accepting human and I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard and supported.
I am passionate and committed to helping neurodivergent humans because I believe that everyone deserves to feel supported and celebrated in this life. I have had the privilege of connecting with and supporting individuals on the spectrum throughout my career and have found such joy in being a part of each person’s inner journey. I truly want to continue to help neurodivergent people to embrace their strengths and all of their gifts and shift away from negative thinking and feelings that delay and sabotage goals, progress and happiness. I hope to be the support you have been seeking to make the positive changes you have been wanting to make in your life.
I am committed to helping people to heal from adverse experiences, create goals to promote growth and thriving and take big steps toward happiness, internal love, and self-acceptance. I use a variety of techniques and treat each client as a unique individual. I offer art therapy to assist clients with engaging in their creative process which can bring about powerful healing while also providing an outlet for feelings and a vehicle for self-expression. If art therapy is not for you, that is okay. As an LPC, I also offer traditional talk therapy as well.
