Casie Moody
About
Hello, I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Casie, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in the Chicago area and licensed in both Nevada and Illinois. I’m passionate about supporting autistic and neurodivergent adults in feeling more understood, grounded, and empowered in their daily lives. As a clinician, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where you can show up as you are and feel truly heard. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to help you build insight, resilience, and practical tools that feel meaningful and accessible for you.
My passion for working with autistic and neurodivergent adults comes from a deep respect for neurodiversity and the belief that everyone deserves to feel understood, accepted, and supported as they are. In my work, I’ve seen how often individuals have had to adapt themselves to fit into systems that weren’t built with them in mind, and I’m committed to creating a space that feels empowering. I'm inspired by the insight, resilience, and unique perspectives within the neurodivergent community, and my goal is to support clients in building on their strengths, navigating challenges, and supporting people in finding ways to feel authentic and sustainable for them.
I bring a compassionate, strengths-based approach by focusing on who you are, not just what you’re struggling with. I believe each person has unique strengths, perspectives, and ways of engaging with the world, and my role is to help you recognize and build on those in a way that feels authentic to you. I prioritize creating a space where you feel validated, respected, and able to show up fully as yourself, without pressure to mask or fit a certain mold. Through collaboration, we’ll identify what works for you, develop practical tools that align with your needs, and support you in creating a life that feels both sustainable and meaningful.
