About
I’m a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Clinician passionate about creating a space where neurodivergent individuals feel seen, understood, and empowered. Licensed in Texas and Massachusetts, and providing therapy in both English and Spanish, I bring over ten years of experience in the mental health field, working with adults from diverse backgrounds. My work is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and the belief that every person deserves support that honors who they are rather than trying to change them.
My passion for working with autistic and neurodivergent clients comes from both professional experience and personal lived experience. As the mother of a daughter with severe nonverbal autism, I understand firsthand the advocacy, resilience, and emotional journey that many neurodivergent individuals and their families navigate daily. I have also witnessed how often autistic and neurodivergent individuals are misunderstood, overlooked, or pressured to fit into systems that were never designed with them in mind. I chose this path because I wanted to help create affirming spaces where clients can unmask safely, embrace their identities, and build confidence in their strengths. I deeply value helping individuals and families better understand themselves while fostering self-acceptance, emotional resilience, and meaningful connection.
My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, and collaborative. I focus on recognizing and building upon each client’s unique abilities, interests, communication styles, and ways of experiencing the world. Rather than viewing neurodivergence as something to “fix,” I work alongside clients to support emotional wellness, self-advocacy, coping skills, and overall quality of life in ways that align with their authentic selves. As a bilingual Latina clinician, I also understand the importance of culturally responsive care and creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel respected, validated, and genuinely supported.
