About
Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you're taking this step to better understand the ways you experience yourself and the world. I'm Dr. Carla Morgan. I live and am licensed in Indiana where I have worked as a psychologist for over 20 years. I’m driven by a deep respect for the diverse ways people think, feel, and communicate. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen and understood as we explore your experiences together. I approach this work with curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to helping you make sense of your story in a way that feels validating and empowering.
I am passionate about working with autistic and otherwise neurodivergent adults because I’ve seen how often people spend years feeling misunderstood, mislabeled, or overlooked. Again and again, I've met individuals whose strengths, struggles, and inner worlds made perfect sense once viewed through a neurodivergent lens. Being able to facilitate that clarity, validation, and sense of ‘finally being heard’ is what drew me to this work and it continues to be my privilege to help people understand themselves more fully and to witness the relief and self-acceptance that can come from a thoughtful, respectful assessment process.
In my work, I take an affirming, strengths-focused approach prioritizing a clearer understanding of the abilities, insights, and unique ways of thinking that each person offers. I see neurodivergence as a meaningful part of someone’s identity—not a deficit—and I work collaboratively to help clients recognize and build upon the strengths that have carried them through life, even when those strengths haven’t always been named or appreciated. This work is both personal and profoundly meaningful to me, and I strive to ensure every client feels respected, supported, and genuinely understood.
