About

Hello! I am a licensed therapist based in the state of Colorado, and I hold licenses to practice in both Colorado and California.  What drives me as a provider is a belief in the resilience of the human spirit and the desire to support people as they create a fulfilling life. For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside a diverse range of individuals and families across many different clinical settings from psychiatric and medical hospitals to outpatient and private practice. Whether you are navigating a major life transition, managing long-standing challenges such as medical conditions or intimate partner relationship struggles, or simply seeking a space to be heard, my goal is to meet you exactly where you are. My background has taught me that while every story is unique, the need for a genuine, compassionate connection remains universal—and that is exactly what I strive to provide for you.

Education & Licensure
Bachelors in Liberal Studies (Minor Sociology) from California State University, San Marcos; Masters in Marital and Family therapy (Clinical Art Therapy)
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I am deeply passionate about supporting neurodivergent adults, a mission that is incredibly close to my heart. Growing up within a neurodiverse family, I have a personal understanding of the unique strengths and the specific hurdles that come with navigating a world that isn't built for every brain type. Beyond my personal connection, I’ve spent over 10 years as an intimate partner counselor seeing people in neurodiverse relationships. I know firsthand how transformative it can be to bridge communication gaps and build a relationship dynamic that honors both partners' needs. My goal is to help you move past feeling "misunderstood" and toward a life—and a relationship—where you can truly thrive as your authentic self.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I believe that therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation, which is why I bring a blend of deep compassion and a sense of humor to our sessions. My approach is strictly affirming and strength-based; I don’t look at you as a set of symptoms to be managed, but as a whole person with a unique set of capabilities. While we will certainly navigate the hurdles you face, my primary focus is on identifying the incredible strengths you already possess and leveraging them to build the life you want.In our work together, you can expect more than just "talk." I utilize specific, structured custom targeted activities designed to fit your individual brain and lifestyle. I am a creative therapist that adapts my interventions to your unique needs. By combining validating, neuro-inclusive support with practical, actionable strategies, I help you bridge the gap between where you are and the life you desire. My goal is to empower you to lean into your authentic self, ensuring you feel seen, valued, and fully equipped to reach your potential.
