About

Hello! Thanks for checking out my profile. My name is Brittany Simon, and I am a Clinical Psychologist licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin. I have worked with neurodivergent individuals for over 13 years in my private practice and started my career at a therapeutic day school for students with autism spectrum disorders. I enjoy getting to know my clients on a deep level so that I can provide them with the best care possible. In my assessments, I make it my mission to gather as much information as possible to accurately diagnose individuals so they can receive the care they need, be better understood, and find the resources that will help them thrive! I look forward to working with you.

Education & Licensure
PsyD. Clinical Psychologist from Midwestern University, Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Midwestern University
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

Many of the autistic adults I have worked with throughout my career were not diagnosed until adulthood. They spent many years being misdiagnosed and misunderstood, which negatively impacted their mental health and overall functioning. It is a privilege for me to provide neurodivergent adults with a comprehensive assessment that enables accurate diagnosis and helps you find services that enhance your well-being.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

During the assessment process, I emphasize your strengths, abilities, and interests that make you unique. No two people are the same and sharing the story of who you are while incorporating clinical data to make an accurate diagnosis is my mission.
