Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I chose to work with neurodivergent individuals because I deeply value authenticity, individuality, and the many different ways people experience and interact with the world. I recognize that many neurodivergent individuals have spent years feeling misunderstood, overlooked, or pressured to mask parts of themselves in order to fit societal expectations. As a psychologist, I want to help create a space where you feel accepted, supported, and empowered to better understand yourself without shame or judgment.

I am passionate about providing affirming, compassionate, and evidence - based care that recognizes both the strengths and challenges that can come with being neurodivergent. My goal is to help you build insight, confidence, coping skills, and self-compassion while honoring your unique experiences and identity. I believe every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported in a way that genuinely fits their needs.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I take an affirming, strengths-based approach that focuses on helping you recognize and build upon your unique abilities, perspectives, and resilience. I believe neurodivergence is not something that needs to be "fixed" but rather understood and supported in a way that allows you to thrive authentically. My goal is to create a compassionate and collaborative space where you feel safe being yourself, exploring your experiences, and developing strategies that genuinely fit your needs and goals.

I strive to meet each client with empathy, curiosity, and respect while recognizing the individuality of every person's journey. I value open communication, validation, and empowerment, and I work to help clients build self - understanding, confidence, coping skills, and self - compassion in ways that honor their identity and strengths.
