About

Everyone deserves to feel comfortable being who they are. In a fast-paced and often overwhelming world, it’s easy to lose connection with yourself. I provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for self-discovery and growth.Therapy with me is collaborative. I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to express your needs, ask questions, and take an active role in your care.I use an integrative approach including CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, and DBT through an autism-informed lens. I recognize both the strengths and challenges of autism and tailor treatment to each individual. As an autistic therapist and advocate, I understand that people relate to their diagnosis differently. You decide what role it plays in your identity and therapy. My role is to support you in building insight, self-understanding, and living in alignment with your values.

Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

Before my autism diagnosis in my early twenties, the world often felt confusing and difficult to navigate. Since then, I’ve come to better understand and appreciate my different way of experiencing it.Working with autistic individuals in a variety of settings has shown me the strengths, insight, and unique perspectives they bring, which are often hidden beneath masking, past difficult experiences, or anxiety. I feel deeply connected to helping clients recognize and feel confident in their own value and abilities.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

Helping clients recognize their strengths begins with cultivating self-compassion. I integrate self-compassion work throughout therapy to support a more understanding and less critical relationship with oneself, one that allows for mistakes, discomfort, and imperfection. As self-compassion grows, it becomes easier to identify and build on personal strengths. Together, we move through this process in a steady, collaborative, and supportive way that helps foster confidence and resilience over time.
