Hello :) My name is Bhumi Mehta. I currently live in Florida and am licensed in 40 states. I believe in creating a safe, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable showing up as you are. My own journey has had plenty of twists and turns, and I know that life does not always follow a predictable path. I want to be part of your journey by helping you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and develop the tools you need to navigate life in a successful manner.

Education & Licensure

I have a psyD in clinical psychology from Nova Southeaster University and a Masters in mental health counseling from Florida State University.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I believe that knowledge is power because it can open up new paths, possibilities, and choices. My motivation for working with autistic adults comes from a desire to help you better understand yourself, your experiences, and the options available to you. From that knowledge, we can develop practical tools and strategies to help you build a resilient life.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I prioritize creating a safe space by approaching your life with curiosity and genuine openness. I believe it is through active listening and understanding your experiences that I can recognize both your strengths and the challenges you face. Together, we can explore your path and identify the tools and strategies you need to navigate it with greater confidence.
