About
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York with experience supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, and the development of effective coping skills. I am deeply passionate about helping individuals identify and work toward their personal goals, whether that means finding relief from overwhelming emotions, building resilience, or creating meaningful change in their lives. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I value working collaboratively with each client to discover what truly works best for them. My approach is compassionate, supportive, and tailored to your unique needs, strengths, and experiences, creating a safe space where growth and healing can unfold at your own pace.
I chose to specialize in working with autistic and neurodivergent clients because of the meaningful experiences I’ve had supporting them over many years in a variety of roles, including as a psychotherapist. Throughout this work, I’ve consistently found it deeply rewarding to help neurodivergent individuals better understand themselves, build autonomy, and navigate the world in ways that feel authentic and empowering. I am passionate about partnering with clients to identify their strengths, honor their unique needs, and work toward goals that matter to them. Supporting neurodivergent clients in finding confidence, self-advocacy, and a sense of agency has been a powerful and motivating part of my professional journey.
I bring an affirming and strength-based approach to my work by first honoring each client as the expert of their own lived experience. I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, respected, and accepted exactly as they are. Rather than focusing on what feels “wrong” or challenging, I work collaboratively to identify strengths, values, and existing coping skills, and then build upon them in ways that feel meaningful and realistic for the client.
