About
Welcome! I’m glad you are here and look forward to working with you! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Georgia and I am passionate about helping individuals become the best they can while developing a greater understanding of themselves. I strive to help others understand what’s going on and why. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based, Person-Centered and trauma-informed approaches. I also rely heavily on my Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist certificate and utilize nutritional strategies to provide additional support.
My motivation for working with neurodivergent clients is to help them navigate the struggles of neurodivergence. I was diagnosed in my 20s and bring first-hand experience and understanding from the perspective of the individual. I also understand first-hand the parenting struggles and nuances of parenting a neurodivergent child. I strive to offer encouragement and hope as each person navigates life’s individual challenges and develops an understanding and acceptance of themselves while building a meaningful and fulfilling life.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process and offer an eclectic approach to therapy often pivoting and remaining flexible to meet the individual needs of each client. We will work together to learn about your individual needs and develop and hone skills needed for you to feel grounded, capable and confident in your personal therapeutic goals. I strive to provide a safe, honest (and sometimes sarcastic) and open environment where you can be your authentic self.
