About
Greetings and welcome! I’m Dr. Beth Boone, a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida, and I specialize in autism evaluations for adolescents and adults, including individuals seeking diagnosis later in life. My work has included clinical care, teaching, and directing community-based services, and I’m passionate about helping people gain meaningful clarity about themselves in a way that feels respectful, accurate, and genuinely useful in their life.
My work with autistic and neurodivergent individuals has grown from both my professional experience and my personal understanding of how often people are overlooked or misunderstood. Over time, I’ve seen how many individuals, especially those who are bright, capable, and adept at masking, move through childhood without being identified, and then reach adulthood without a clear explanation for their experiences. I’ve also come to understand this more personally within my own self and family, which has deepened both my perspective and my commitment to this work.I know how meaningful it can be to finally have things make sense. I’m drawn to helping people feel seen and understood in a way that is accurate, respectful, and affirming of who they are, not who they have been expected to be by others.
I take a neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based approach to assessment and feedback. My goal is not to focus on “fixing” differences, but to help you understand how your brain works, what your strengths are, and where supports may be helpful. I prioritize listening carefully, asking thoughtful questions, and creating a space where you feel comfortable being fully your authentic self.I also focus on making feedback practical and meaningful. That includes helping you identify supports, accommodations, and next steps that align with your goals and daily life. I want you to leave the process not only with answers, but with a clearer sense of yourself and confidence in how to move forward.
