About

Hi Everyone! I'm glad you're here. My name is Benjetta. I live in Houston, Texas and I am licensed in the great state of Texas. I am very passionate about the work that I do, and I truly believe in meeting my clients where they are. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides compassionate, client-centered therapy for adolescents, adults, and families. I take a holistic view of your well-being, paying attention to the connection between mind, body, and overall health. I have experience supporting people through stress, relationship challenges, behavioral concerns, and life transitions, and I’m passionate about helping you find clarity and balance during difficult seasons in your life. I work to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

Education & Licensure
Master of Science (MS) in Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT): Master of Science (MSW); Bachelor in Science in Criminal Justice
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

My approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and meeting clients where they are. I focus on helping clients recognize their strengths, feel seen and heard, and build confidence in themselves and their relationships. I'm especially passionate about supporting underserved and overlooked populations, including autistic and neurodivergent individuals, by creating a safe affirming, and nonjudgmental space where they can grow and thrive as their authentic selves

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

What made me passionate about specializing in working with autistic and neurodivergent clients is that they are often an underserved and overlooked population. Many times, when people think about therapy, the focus tends to be on the general population, while neurodivergent individuals and their unique experiences are not always fully understood or supported.I’m passionate about working with communities that may not always receive the attention, advocacy, or individualized care they deserve. I want to bring my strengths, compassion, and clinical skills into a space where I can help support neurodivergent clients in enhancing their daily lives, strengthening their relationships, building confidence, and developing skills that allow them to thrive authentically as themselves.
