Hello! My name is Benjamin and I look forward to working with you. I live in Chicago and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. I enjoy helping people find ways to find ways to be optimistic and work through various challenges in their life. My goal is to help people identify thoughts that are not helpful and focus on thoughts that are helpful. I am big believer in practicing acceptance. People are often a lot more capable than they realized and I enjoy helping people with that goal. I want clients to feel heard and validated.
I have a passion for helping people that are often misunderstood and not included. I want to help people learn how to be comfortable with being themselves and that it is alright to be different. I want to help Autistic individuals that they are capable of a lot. I enjoy working with the Autistic population because of their unique perspectives.
I want to help clients identify strengths that they have and feel validated. I believe that the client is the expert. I want to help clients identify their values. I want to help clients find ways to improve their life by finding ways to stay active, improve relationships, and managing self-defeating thoughts. I want people to feel comfortable with being themselves.
