About

Hello! Thank you for taking the first step of reading my profile and reaching out! I am so excited to hear from you!  My goal is to collaborate with you in your mental health journey. I am passionate about helping neurodivergent adults adapt to employment, dating, relationships, and social challenges. I believe that every person is unique and I will adapt my approach to meet your needs. I believe in creating a safe and compassionate space in which every neurodivergent person's story can be validated.   Focusing on strengths, I will partner with you to create the strategies that work for you! A little about me. I live in New York City, and I am licensed to provide therapy in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut, and I have permission to provide teletherapy in Florida. Outside of work, I really like trying different cuisines, working out, traveling, hiking, and reading. I like to explore my clients’ hobbies and what they’re passionate about. I am really interested in getting to know you as a whole person!

Education & Licensure
Bachelor's degree in Peace and Global Studies from Earlham College; Master of Social Work from New York University, certified neurodiverse couples therapist from the Association for Autism and Neurodiversity, and Neurodiversity Sexuality Professional from Modern Sex Therapy Institute.
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

As a neurodivergent person, I have always been aware that neurodivergent people have many strengths: deep knowledge of specialized interests, thinking outside the box, honesty, loyalty, deep focus, pattern recognition, and many others. I understand that the stressors and pressures of living in a predominantly neurotypical society can cause burnout and anxiety. I am dedicated to helping neurodivergent people to unmask, be their authentic self and find the best ways to navigate the demands around them. Being neurodivergent has helped me to develop empathy and compassion with neurodivergent people.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I am collaborative, neurodivergent affirming, and strength based in my approach, and I believe my job is to help you find the answers for yourself rather than telling them to you.  I believe that we can work together to find the strategies and techniques that will help you find success in a neurotypical society. I use brainstorming and validation to help you feel validated and empowered. I am honored by the opportunity to help!
