About
A big welcome to you—so glad you could make it! I currently reside in and am licensed in the state of NC. Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying the weight of past experiences, navigating major life transitions, or struggling to understand yourself in a world that doesn't always feel accommodating. My goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.I specialize in working with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, life stressors, relationship challenges, and difficulties related to self-esteem and identity. I have experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, helping clients better understand their unique strengths while developing tools to navigate daily challenges. I also work with individuals struggling with eating disorders, body image concerns, emotional regulation, and unhealthy coping patterns.
I chose to specialize in working with autistic and neurodivergent individuals because I am passionate about helping people feel understood, valued, and empowered in a world that is not always designed with their needs in mind. Throughout my experience, I have seen how often neurodivergent individuals are encouraged to focus on fitting into expectations rather than embracing the unique strengths, perspectives, and abilities they already possess. My approach is rooted in the belief that neurodiversity is not something that needs to be "fixed." Instead, I strive to create a supportive and affirming space where clients can better understand themselves, build confidence, develop self-advocacy skills, and cultivate meaningful lives that align with who they are. I find it incredibly rewarding to help clients recognize their strengths, navigate challenges on their own terms, and embrace their authentic identities. Witnessing clients grow in self-acceptance and realize their potential is one of the most meaningful aspects of my work as a therapist
I believe that every individual possesses unique strengths, inherent resilience, and untapped potential. My approach to therapy centers on helping clients recognize, embrace, and build upon these strengths, creating opportunities for growth, healing, and self-discovery. Rather than defining people by their struggles, I strive to help them reconnect with the qualities, values, and abilities that have carried them through life's challenges and can continue to support them in achieving their goals. My work is rooted in compassion, affirmation, and genuine collaboration. I provide a safe, supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued for who they are. Whether navigating trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, eating disorders, relationship concerns, or questions of identity and self-worth, I partner with clients to identify their existing resources and empower them to move forward with confidence.I take a strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach, honoring each individual's unique experiences while fostering self-acceptance and personal growth. I believe healing occurs when people are given the space to recognize their capabilities, embrace their authentic selves, and cultivate the skills needed to build the life they envision. My commitment as a therapist is to walk alongside clients with empathy, encouragement, and unwavering support as they discover their own resilience, deepen their self-understanding, and realize their full potential. Together, we can build on what is already strong and create meaningful, lasting change
