About
Hello! I am Ayla White and I am so glad you are considering making space for therapy. I am a licensed clinical social worker and provider therapeutic support for Colorado and Virginia. I have over 10 years experience with supporting those with anxiety, depression and life transitions. My goal is collaborate with you so that you may better understand yourself as you seek a meaningful and purposeful life.
As a neurodivergent person myself, I empathize with many clients who feel that everyone got the script for how to do to life-and your still trying to figure it out. Many capable adults feel this way and I take joy in helping adults work through anxiety, grief, life transitions, and relationship changes so they can feel grounded and safe again. I am inspired to assist my clients with navigating challenges, seeking strengths and building compassion towards themselves.
Each session will have a person centered approach that allows for flexibility and within evidence based interventions. We will explore the dynamics of your thoughts-emotion-and behaviors with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Build skills for emotional regulation with Dialectical Behavior Therapy. And re-establish self trust and safeness though Narrative Therapy. With a collaborative effort we will explore the experiences that have impacted your life and seek new meaning as we go.
